Eaton Supercapacitors are high power, very reliable and extremely high capacitance energy storage devices using electrochemical double layer capacitor (EDLC) construction joined with proprietary materials and processes.

The advanced technology provided by Eaton offers a range of capacitor solutions customer-made to applications for backup power, hybrid power and pulse power systems. The capacitors can be applied as the only energy storage or they can be used in arrangement with batteries to enhance the cost, life time and run time. System requirements can vary from a couple of micro-amps to megawatts.

All products feature low ESR for high power density with environmentally friendly materials for a green power solution. Eaton supercapacitors are maintenance-free with design lifetimes up to 20 years.
